The Doctrine of the Scriptures
We believe in the inspiration of the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) as being plenarily and verbally inspired without any admixture of human error in the original writings; The Bible is the complete written record of God’s supernatural revelation of Himself to man. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters in faith and practice.
[Psa 19:7-11] 7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.
[Mar 13:31] 31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
[Jhn 17:17] 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[2Ti 3:16-17] 16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
[2Pe 1:20-21] 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
[Rev 22:18-19 KJV] 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.
